Answer: They were bannned by the Indian government considering the security of the nation and privacy of the citizens, these apps were dangerous as they were taking the personal information of the people and forwarding it to china to the government or the app owner which could be quite harmful, just imagine an app having every internal sight of the country could do a lot of evil things providing profit to their country and loses to the other hence the government took a wise decision of banning these apps.[It is also an economic strike on china]
So according to me you all might be using the banned apps for some serious work in life, I too used these apps a lot but now I no longer use them even when some are not banned yet as I have found some amazing alternatives for them which are even better than some of the Chinese apps.
